What is a Community Resource Navigator?
The goal of the Navigator is to help you and your family access and understand the benefits and resources available in your community.
For programs such as:
Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Social Security Disability (SSDI)
Health Insurance and Health First Colorado (Colorado’s Medicaid Program)
Special Medicaid programs like Long Term Support Services and Home and Community Based Waivers
Public Assistance like SNAP (food stamps), cash assistance, and others
Independent Living Skills Training to assist in Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Social Security Disability (SSDI) programs.

Lauren Patti holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Cultural Anthropology with a minor in Spanish from the University of Oregon. As the current Assistant Director of Navigation Services for Bayaud Enterprises, her expertise in the fields of public assistance programs, health insurance, Social Security Administration programs, and Ticket to Work offer the department a solid foundation She has worked in research, government human services, and nonprofit sectors. Beginning her career working in Oregon with youth and families through TANF (Temporary Assistance to Needy Families) and Child Welfare programs, she was moved to work within state policy systems when she noted the disparities the disability population faced with access to benefits, resources, and self-sufficiency programming. From 2012-2016 she was a Colorado licensed health insurance producer and gained insight into the world of private insurance and the Affordable Care Act. Receiving her certification as a Work Incentives Coordinator through Virginia Commonwealth University in 2015 has allowed her to counsel SSI/SSDI recipients about going back to work on benefits. Lauren is the Denver Metro Area SOAR (SSI/SSDI Outreach, Access, and Recovery) lead and ensures coordination within the community for SSI/SSDI programming and services. Lauren began her work with Bayaud Enterprises in 2012 and continually strives to utilize her knowledge and passion in the field of human services, advocacy, and social work to contribute to our community

Arcelia Mozée, MSW, is a native of Denver, Colorado. She holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Colorado State University and University of Denver, respectively. Arcelia is fortunate to have worked with a wide variety of populations and programs. As a Community Resource Navigator with Bayaud Enterprises, she assists participants to acquire public benefits and obtain SSI/SSDI as a SOAR (SSI/SSDI Outreach, Access, and Recovery) Certified worker. She is excited to help launch Navigator’s latest social enterprise which serves state agencies, companies, and private families not traditionally served through Bayaud’s low income guidelines. Arcelia worked for over 10 years in TANF (Temporary Assistance to Needy Families) and Workforce Development programs, both as a caseworker and in contracts and performance management. This experience included coordinating the Family Services Program with a focus on access to mental health and family safety services. Arcelia started her career in child welfare and youth-at-risk. In her over 20 years of experience, Arcelia continues to love helping individuals and families reach their goals of stability, economic progress and personal well-being.
